Welcome to the Lagos Navigators, from Marina da Lagos, in the Algarve Portugal.
We hoped to raise a record amount for Lar de Jovens in 2008. Through  Carol Singing at Christmas we raised the sum of €240, and after summer this year, we presented an additional €800. Click Here for full details!.........
Please - if you haven’t yet joined or registered, please do so! Its free - there are no fees of any sort in this !      Welcome..............  If you don’t want to join then please feel free to have a good look around.

The Lagos Navigators'  was set up by a group of yachtsmen in 2005, to enable locals and visitors to meet and share views, experiences and information in a convivial environment.  All moneys go to the Lar de Jovens Childrens home in Lagos.

The Navigators’ Net, VHF Ch. 09, has become a key part of our activities - it features safety information, weather forecasts, and items of interest to YOU. All contributions and comments are welcome.

Over each winter, we aim to provide a monthly talk, presentation, visit or discussion. Last winter, we’ve been behind the scenes at Sopromar Boat Yard, visited Tavira Observatory, and had presentations on Galvanic and Stray Current Corrosion, Computers and Communication, Safety at Sea and AIS.   Plus lots of other fun stuff too

We’re especially pleased that the Marina de Lagos management team continues to support our efforts. They also arrange a series of “NINE EVENTS FOR NINE MONTHS” over the winter, to help keep us all occupied and entertained during our stay here!

We hope you have a great stay and join in our activities!  See you soon.   The Lagos Navigators.
